Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll get picked up from your hotel/residential, or airport. By 08:30 am, you'll depart for the Masai Mara with the first stop at the viewpoint for the view of the escarpment wall. Later, you'll descend the escarpment and travel on to Narok town for an early lunch. You will arrive at around 3:00 pm, check in, followed by a late afternoon game drive till sunset. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve Game Drive

Masai Mara National Reserve Game Drive

You'll have breakfast at the camp, then, before 8:00 am, you'll leave the camp with a packed lunch for an extensive 9-hour wildlife viewing. The Masai Mara has the highest number of different species. You will be lucky to see hundreds of them. A game drive to the Mara River is compulsory; if it is migration time, you will witness the same, otherwise you will see crocodiles and hippos at the river. You'll have a picnic lunch inside the park, then continue with the game drive till 5:00 pm. You'll leave the park for at least 2 hours optional activity. You will relax at the camp. You'll take a nature walk with Maasai warriors, visit the Maasai village, or go on a balloon safari (all optional and payable). Your dinner and overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you'll check out and leave the Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru with lunch en route. You'll enjoy a game drive at Lake Nakuru, which is famous for the endangered species (rhinos) and the flamingos. Sometimes the flamingos are very few, but you are guaranteed to see the rhinos among other Big Five. You'll return to the lodge for the evening.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll head to Lake Naivasha. Here, you'll visit Hell's Gate for morning activities. Here is the only place one can walk inside the park, as there are no predators. You will decide whether to do the game drive with the safari vehicle or hire a bicycle to cycle the 11 kms down to the gorge. At the gorge, you will get a guide so that he can guide you and share information about the rock layers. Later, you'll drive/cycle back to the gate. Also, you'll enjoy a swim at the therapeutic spa (payable).
