Your safari adventure begins with a morning flight from Cape Town to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), depending on your lodge’s location. Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your local guide or driver and transferred to your lodge near Kruger National Park.

Check-in, in the late afternoon, get ready for your first thrilling encounter with South Africa’s wildlife on a Sunset Game Drive in an open 4x4 safari vehicle, led by a qualified field guide.

Sunset Game Drive in Kruger National Park (±3–4 hours)
As the heat of the day begins to soften and golden light floods the savannah, this is one of the best times for wildlife activity in Kruger. Your sunset game drive offers a magical opportunity to witness the park’s diverse animal life just before and after dusk.

After sunset, the drive continues into early evening when nocturnal animals begin to emerge a true safari highlight.

Depending on your flight time, enjoy some leisure time soaking in the peaceful surroundings.

Your driver will then transfer you comfortably to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) in time for your return flight to Cape Town or onward travel.
