1-Day Zanzibar to Mikumi Fly-in Safari

A day trip from Zanzibar to Mikumi National Park promises a thrilling, unforgettable experience. Your adventure begins with a 7:00 AM flight from Zanzibar, following a convenient pickup from your hotel in Stone Town. You will arrive at Mikumi Airstrip at 8:10 am, where you will meet your guide, who will then brief you. You will jump straight into a thrilling game drive across the breathtaking Mikumi floodplain.

We use modified 4×4 open safari jeeps, which will allow you to get up close to some of the most magnificent creatures in their natural habitat. As you explore, you will get to see elephants, zebras, lions, giraffes, and leopards. In the afternoon, you will have a picnic lunch inside the park while watching these animals in their natural environment.

After lunch, you will continue with your game drive. Later in the afternoon, you will catch your flight at 4 pm back to Zanzibar, where you should arrive at around 5 pm.
