Your day starts with an early pickup from your lodge or camp in Tarangire, followed by a quick coffee or tea and a packed breakfast. You'll then enjoy a scenic 2.5–3 hour drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. After check-in and a stop at the stunning crater rim viewpoint, you'll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive.
As you explore the crater floor, you'll search for the Big Five—lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo, and leopard—along with zebras, wildebeests, hyenas, and flamingos. You have the option to stop at a Maasai village en route to experience the rich culture and traditions of the local people. Upon arriving at the Naabi Hill Gate, take a short break to admire the breathtaking panoramic vistas before entering the expansive Serengeti plains, famed for their endless horizons and thriving wildlife.
Continue with a game drive toward your lodge or tented camp, keeping an eye out for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps even predators like lions and cheetahs. Reach your accommodation in the late afternoon, check in, and relax as you take in the magnificent beauty of the African savannah.
