Upon arrival and check-in, your day of adventure begins in this stunning wilderness known for its towering baobab trees and large herds of elephants. During the dry season, these majestic trees become a vital food source for the elephants, making for incredible wildlife encounters. Spend the day exploring the park's rich landscapes and diverse wildlife. Ngorongoro Crater Back to Arusha

After breakfast, you’ll set out on a 45-minute drive to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival and registration at the gate, you’ll descend 600 meters into the crater a world of its own, teeming with wildlife. As you explore the crater floor, you’ll be captivated by the sight of countless grazing animals and have one of the best chances in Africa to spot the legendary Big Five: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino.

In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing picnic lunch near a hippo pool, with facilities conveniently nearby. After lunch, begin the two-hour drive back to Arusha, where you’ll check in for your overnight stay.

Optional: In the evening, you can choose to experience Arusha’s nightlife with a guided town tour—drinks at your own expense.

Kilimanjaro Excursion

After having breakfast, you will drive for two hours to Materuni village. The village is in the shadow of Kilimanjaro Mountain. On arrival, you will hike to the famous waterfalls.

After having a local lunch buffet, you will learn about the history of the Chagga people, who are residents of the Kilimanjaro region. Afterward, you will drive for one hour to Kikuletwa Hot Springs for the rest of the day. In the evening, you will drive to the airport or Arusha.
