On this day, your driver-guide from Kimed Ecotours will welcome you at the airport or pick you up from the airport. After greetings, you will board the vehicle and head to Akagera National Park. You'll have lunch en route and arrive in the afternoon or early evening. You'll embark on a boat cruise on Lake Ihema. You'll see several animals like giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, antelopes, waterbucks, and many others quenching their thirst. You'll also see crocodiles lying lazily on the lake shores of the lake. After, you'll embark on a brief game drive that will allow you to see several other animals that you might not have seen on a boat cruise. You'll then head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2
Morning game drive and transfer back to Kigali to end the tour

On this day, you'll wake up in the morning and have breakfast. You'll then check out of the lodge and head out for a morning game drive. This game drive will allow you to see a variety of animals. You'll see lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, giraffes, bushbucks, antelopes, elands, topis, and many other animals. The game drive from South to North will allow you to see many animals and exit the park in the late afternoon. You'll then have lunch and embark on a journey back to Kigali, arriving in the evening. You'll say goodbye to your driver-guide after dropping you off at your chosen location, and this will mark the end of the tour.
