Arrival – Arusha

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your safari guide. After a short briefing, you’ll transfer to your hotel in Arusha town. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or explore the vibrant town, home to markets, coffee plantations, and scenic views of Mount Meru. Settle in and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.

Arusha National Park

After breakfast, head to Arusha National Park, a hidden gem boasting stunning scenery and rich biodiversity. Explore the lush forest, sparkling Momella Lakes, and the impressive Ngurdoto Crater. You may have the chance to enjoy a short walking safari alongside giraffes and other wildlife. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, zebras, colobus monkeys, and many bird species. After a full day exploring, return to Arusha town for overnight.

Tarangire National Park

Today you travel to Tarangire National Park, known for its spectacular elephant migration and ancient baobab trees. The park's river draws numerous animals, creating fantastic game viewing opportunities. Watch for prides of lions, leopards resting in trees, herds of zebras, and towering giraffes. After a rewarding day of wildlife viewing, continue to your lodge or camp near Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater

An early start takes you to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, often described as one of Africa’s natural wonders. Descend into the crater floor for a full day of game viewing among incredible landscapes. Spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and possibly the rare black rhino within the crater’s lush ecosystem. After an unforgettable safari experience, ascend the crater walls and return to your accommodation in Karatu.

Lake Manyara National Park – Departure

On your final day, visit Lake Manyara National Park, a small but diverse reserve famous for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Drive through groundwater forests, open savannahs, and along the lakeshore where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and baboons. After your game drive, head back to Arusha or directly to the airport for your departure, concluding your Tanzanian safari.
