Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel around 8:30 am and depart from Nairobi for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint. After a picnic lunch on the way, you will arrive at the Mara in the afternoon. Proceed for an evening game drive, followed by dinner and your overnight stay at Lenchada Camp or similar, which features an en-suite with a private hot shower and toilet inside the tent.

Day 2

After an early breakfast with a picnic lunch, you will spend a full day exploring this unique park, which forms the northern part of the famous Serengeti National Park. You will have the chance to visit the Mara River, the border between Masai Mara and the Serengeti National Park, where there is a high concentration of animals (depending on the time of year). You will have lunch at the hippo pool, where you can watch hippos and other wild animals. All meals and your overnight stay will be at the camp.

Day 3

After an early game drive, you will have a late breakfast and then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park with a picnic lunch on the way. If time permits, you may visit Lake Naivasha's Crescent Island for a boat ride, which takes around two hours (optional, cost not included). Afterward, proceed to Nakuru, arriving in the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Hill Court Resort & Spa or similar budget accommodations.

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha

Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha

After an early breakfast, spend the morning in Lake Nakuru National Park, where you have a chance to see flamingos and other birds (about 350 species have been recorded). This park is also home to both black and white rhinoceros and was established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino. You may also see colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plains antelope.

Afterward, depart for nearby Lake Naivasha with a picnic lunch on the way. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride to Crescent Island (optional, cost not included), then proceed for dinner and your overnight stay at the Hotel Chambai Safari or similar.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park, where you will have a chance to visit the Geothermal Power Plant in Olkaria and the hot springs. This is the only park that allows exploration by walking and cycling. You may pay an optional visit to Crescent Island for a boat ride, where you can watch hippos and other wild animals. Later, after lunch, you will depart for Nairobi, arriving around 5:00 pm for drop-off at your hotel.
