Arrive at the Entebbe International Airport (EBB) where you get to meet your safari expert in Uganda. Get a warm welcome to Uganda from the safari expert. Expect to be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe City. Entebbe is one of the cities in Central Uganda. It is on Lake Victoria Peninsula about 40 km south of Kampala Capital City. At the Entebbe, you will have a leisurely evening in the comfort of your hotel.

Day 2

Enjoy a hefty breakfast early morning and after, set off for Mabamba Bay Wetland for a birding tour. Today, you will catch up with a boat/canoe ready to begin the shoebill trekking tour in Mabamba. Mabamba is one of the top birding tour sites in Uganda and is perfect for shoebill bird-watching. Besides exploring shoebill storks, expect to spot other birds including Wahlberg’s eagle, Yellow-rumped tinkerbird, Western banded snake eagle, Sooty chat, Papyrus
gonoleks, red-headed lovebird, Broad-billed rollers, and more. After a half-day birding excursion, you will return to Entebbe to settle for a leisurely lunch at the hotel. After lunch, proceed to Entebbe Zoo to enjoy a close encounter with
the different animals that are protected here. Entebbe Zoo protects animals such as giraffes, lions, leopards, hyenas, waterbucks, Uganda Kobs, snakes, and birds. After the enriching Entebbe Zoo tour, return to the hotel to relax and enjoy overnight stays.

Day 3

Begin the day with a hefty breakfast and after, set off for Ngamba Island Chimp Sanctuary. Embark on a boat cruise on Lake Victoria to access the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Catch up with the morning session when chimpanzees are fed during the morning session. Closely watch chimps feed and respond when called by
their names by the experts at the Ngamba Chimp Sanctuary.
Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary is surrounded by the scenic Lake Victoria and is home to over 52 orphaned chimpanzees. Ngamba Island extends over 100 acres and over 98% of it consists of a forest. The chimp sanctuary is enclosed with a fence and chimpanzees can be watched at designated locations. After the morning session of observing chimp feeding, expect to return to Entebbe by boat. This will be using the late afternoon boat and upon arrival, a professional driver guide will be available to transfer you to your respective hotels in Entebbe.

Depart from Entebbe for Kampala to experience the best of Buganda cultural experience. Arrive early to begin your food experience session at Mengo. The Mengo food experience takes you through the step-by-step process of preparing Buganda dishes. This begins with harvesting the matoke and transporting it to where actual preparation is done. With the local expert available, you will take part in the peeling, wrapping, and other stages essential in the preparation of meals like Luwombo. In the afternoon when your meal is ready, expect to settle for lunch. What you prepare from morning is what is served to you. After the lunch break and refreshments, proceed to the Baha’i temple on Kikaya Hill, then to Uganda Martyrs Namugongo and finalize your day with the Uganda Museum.

Leave Kampala for Jinja, a road trip to last you about 2-3 hours’ drive. En route, you will make a stopover at the Mabira Forest Reserve. Expect to engage in the morning zip-lining experience which takes about 3 hours. After the zip-lining adventure, proceed to Jinja. At Jinja, expect to be thrilled by the afternoon whitewater rafting experience. First, you will have a briefing about the adventure and proceed on the actual excursion with an expert. Spend about 4 hours on an adventure on the Source of the Nile as you get challenged by the tough grades or rapids.

After breakfast, check out and today, you will pay a visit to Busowoko Waterfalls, one of
the spectacular sites in Jinja. Proceed from Jinja to Kampala or Entebbe to be dropped
off at the Entebbe airport or hotel.
