Arusha to Tarangire National Park
In the morning, we will collect you from your hotel and begin your adventure. At the departure point, you’ll be warmly welcomed and introduced to your guide, personal chef, and fellow travelers before setting off toward the iconic Tarangire National Park. Known for its dramatic scenery, Tarangire features expansive savannahs dotted with towering baobab trees, some over a thousand years old. The park is also home to Tanzania’s largest population of elephants, offering exceptional opportunities to witness their social behavior up close—especially herds gathering around watering holes. We’ll embark on an extended game drive, guided by real-time wildlife reports to increase our chances of spotting elusive predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The park also boasts a rich variety of grazers including impalas, zebras, wildebeests, and graceful giraffes. By sunset, you’ll have a deep appreciation of why Tarangire is a hidden gem in Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After enjoying breakfast, we’ll depart for Serengeti National Park, journeying through the scenic highlands of Karatu and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we travel, you’ll witness a dramatic shift in landscape—from lush, cultivated hills to the vast, iconic savannahs of the Serengeti. This legendary region, often called the “heart of wild Africa,” is renowned for its sweeping plains that seem to stretch endlessly into the horizon. Our destination is the Seronera Valley in the central Serengeti, an area known for its abundance of wildlife thanks to the year-round water flow of the Seronera River. This rich ecosystem supports a diverse array of animals, including lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and countless antelope species. We'll arrive in time to enjoy lunch before heading out for an exciting afternoon game drive, exploring the area in search of big cats and other wildlife. Later, we’ll settle in for dinner and an overnight stay at the Seronera Public Campsite.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highland
After enjoying a hearty breakfast, you'll set out for a final morning game drive, taking advantage of the cooler hours when wildlife is most active. This is a great chance to spot any animals you may have missed the day before—perhaps a pride of lions on the hunt or a herd of elephants moving through the grasslands. As the drive winds down, you’ll leave the plains behind and begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Highlands. The road gradually ascends, offering scenic views of the Great Rift Valley and lush, green slopes. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive at Simba Campsite, perched on the crater rim with sweeping views and a refreshing highland breeze. Here, you'll settle in for the night under the stars, with the sounds of nature surrounding your camp, preparing for the next day’s descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4
Ngorongoro crater Back to Arusha
Ngorongoro crater Back to Arusha
Following an early breakfast, we’ll begin our descent into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations. Our primary goal this morning is to search for the elusive black rhino, the rarest of the Big Five and the hardest to spot in the crater due to its shy nature and limited population. Fortunately, the open landscape of the crater floor makes viewing other animals like lions, elephants, zebras, and buffalo much easier, offering us rich photographic opportunities and unforgettable sightings.
After enjoying a relaxing picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots near the hippo pool or Lerai Forest, we’ll continue with an afternoon game drive to explore more of this natural wonder. As the day comes to a close, we will ascend the steep crater walls and return to camp, where we’ll prepare our belongings and get ready for the return journey to Arusha city.
