Your safari begins early in the morning with pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. From Nairobi, drive south to the Namanga border post, where you’ll clear immigration and customs. After crossing into Tanzania, proceed to Arusha—Tanzania’s safari capital—where you will have a brief stop for refreshments or lunch.
In Arusha, after having your lunch, you'll proceed by road through the Ngorongoro Highlands and arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon.
Upon arrival in Serengeti, enjoy your first thrilling game drive en route to your camp. The endless plains stretch as far as the eye can see, teeming with wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and predators such as lions and cheetahs.
Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Kananga Special Tented Camp.

Day 2

Rise early and head out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. This vast ecosystem is renowned for its predator-prey dynamics, and your chances of spotting lions on a hunt, cheetahs in the open plains, or hyenas around carcasses are very high.
Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration—a spectacle involving millions of animals on the move in search of fresh grazing. Your professional guide will help track the herds and position you for incredible photo opportunities.
Enjoy a packed lunch in the bush or return to your lodge for a hot meal before resuming your afternoon game drive.

Day 3
Explore the Central or Northern Serengeti
Explore the Central or Northern Serengeti
Today is another exciting day dedicated to discovering different regions of the Serengeti. Depending on the time of year, you may explore the Seronera Valley (central Serengeti)—a wildlife hotspot famous for its year-round game viewing—or head further north toward the Mara River if the migration herds are in the area.
You might come across elephants bathing in the river, hippos lazing in pools, or leopards lounging on acacia branches. Bird lovers will also appreciate the Serengeti’s incredible avian diversity.
In the evening, relax by the campfire under the stars as you listen to distant calls of lions and hyenas. Your dinner will be served at your tented camp.

Day 4
Serengeti – Tarangire National Park
Serengeti – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti as you exit the park. Keep your eyes peeled for any animals you may have missed before. You’ll then journey south toward Tarangire National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Lake Manyara region.
Stop for lunch en route, and arrive in Tarangire in the afternoon. Enter the park and enjoy your first game drive in this scenic reserve known for its ancient baobab trees, open savannahs, and large herds of elephants.
As the sun sets, head to Sangaiwe Tented Lodge located near the park for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Full-day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
Full-day Game Drive in Tarangire National Park
Spend the full day exploring Tarangire, a lesser-visited gem with rich biodiversity and stunning landscapes. The park is famous for its large elephant population and baobab trees, but it also hosts a wide array of animals including lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and a variety of antelope species.
Your guide will navigate through various habitats along the Tarangire River, where wildlife tends to gather during the dry season. Keep your camera ready for incredible sightings and sweeping views.
Optional activity: Visit a nearby Maasai village(Optional, at an extra cost)in the late afternoon to learn about traditional pastoralist culture and enjoy an authentic cultural exchange.
Later after enjoying your game drives and picnic lunch within the park, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxed night.

Day 6
Tarangire – Nairobi
Tarangire – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy one last early morning game drive in Tarangire as you bid farewell to Tanzania’s wilderness. Then begin your return journey to Arusha by road.
In Arusha, you’ll have lunch before continuing your cross-border drive back to Nairobi via the Namanga border. Upon arrival in Nairobi in the evening, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport depending on your onward plans.
