Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, your personal safari guide will greet you and transfer you to your lodge in Arusha. Arusha To Tarangire National Park

Estimated Distance: ~120 km | Driving Time: ~2-2.5 hours

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park, famed for its enormous elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and sweeping savannah. Enjoy your first full-day game drive, searching for lions, giraffes, buffalo, and a wide variety of birds along the Tarangire River. In the evening, set up camp inside the park, listening to the sounds of nature as night falls.

Tarangire To Lake Manyara

Estimated Distance: ~100 km | Driving Time: ~2–2.5 hours

Depart Tarangire after breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a hidden gem at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a game drive through lush forest, open plains, and along the lake shore, where flamingos, hippos, and monkeys abound. Keep watch for the park’s famous tree-climbing lions before heading to nearby Mto wa Mbu village for camping and dinner.

Arrive at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite, perched on the crater rim, in time to enjoy breathtaking sunset views and a hot meal.

Rise early and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder and UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. Spot the endangered black rhino, herds of wildebeest and zebras, lions on the prowl, and hippos wallowing in the lakes. After a picnic lunch in the crater, ascend and drive back to Arusha for your final evening in town.
