Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your All Wheels Experience guide and transferred to your charming lodge in Arusha (transfer time: approx. 1–1.5 hours). Take the rest of the day to relax after your journey. Your lodge is set in peaceful surroundings with beautiful gardens and views of Mount Meru. If you arrive early, optional activities (at extra cost) include a visit to a nearby coffee estate or a guided Arusha city tour to explore local markets and culture. Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park - Baobabs & Giants

After breakfast, depart Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Known for its ancient baobabs and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers an exciting start to your safari. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, zebras, giraffes, and many bird species near the Tarangire River. Enjoy a bush-style picnic lunch under the shade of acacia trees. In the late afternoon, drive to your lodge in Karatu (approx. 1.5 hours), nestled in the highlands. Your guide will tailor the day based on wildlife movements and your personal interests—whether that means tracking the Great Migration (seasonal), searching for elusive leopards in the riverine forests, or spending time with a pride of lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot under an acacia tree or by a hippo pool. The Serengeti is vast, and this full day allows you to soak in its rhythm and grandeur. After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater gate (approx. 2-2.5 Hours). Descend into the crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by 600-meter walls, the crater is home to a dense concentration of wildlife including rhinos, lions, flamingos, and massive buffalo herds. Have lunch near a hippo pool in the crater floor before ascending and returning to your lodge in Karatu. Optional activity: Visit a local community project or enjoy a fireside storytelling session with a local guide (extra cost). After breakfast, drive to nearby Lake Manyara National Park (approx. 45 minutes), known for its lush forests, hot springs, and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a morning game drive along the lake’s edge, watching elephants, monkeys, flamingos, and perhaps a rare lion lounging in the trees. Exit the park by midday and transfer to Arusha (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Depending on your departures schedule, we can arrange a freshen-up stop or a farewell meal before your transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (approx. 1–1.5 hours).
