Trek from Arusha to Miriakamba Hut

Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Momella Gate. Begin your trek through the vibrant rainforest, encountering giraffes, monkeys, and waterfalls. Accompanied by a park ranger, hike 5–7 hours to Miriakamba Hut. Enjoy a hot meal prepared by your crew and settle in for the night.

Hike to Saddle Hut – Optional Little Meru Acclimatization

Depart Miriakamba Hut and ascend through alpine forests and heathlands. Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Meru Crater and Ash Tray. Arrive at Saddle Hut and opt for a short acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3820m). Dinner is served early to allow rest before the midnight summit attempt.

Summit Socialist Peak – Descend to Arusha

Begin your final ascent at 1:30 am, reaching Socialist Peak (4566m) at sunrise. Enjoy breathtaking views of Kilimanjaro and the crater floor. Descend carefully back to Saddle Hut, continue to Momella Gate, and transfer to Arusha. Celebrate your summit with lasting memories of Mount Meru.
