Arusha to tarangire national park

Begin your day early with a drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park, located about 2–3 hours away. Upon arrival, you’ll enter a stunning landscape filled with giant baobab trees, open grasslands, and the Tarangire River, a vital water source for wildlife.

Start your morning game drive, where you can spot large herds of elephants, as well as lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and various antelope species. Bird lovers will enjoy the rich variety of species, especially around the riverbanks and swamps.

Around midday, enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a scenic site inside the park, often with views of wildlife nearby. After lunch, continue exploring different areas of the park during your afternoon game drive.

Lake manyara national park

Start your day early with a drive from Arusha or nearby towns to Lake Manyara National Park, located at the base of the Great Rift Valley. The park is famous for its diverse habitats—from dense forests to open grasslands and the shimmering alkaline lake.

Upon arrival, embark on a morning game drive where you can spot tree-climbing lions, elephants, baboons, giraffes, hippos, and a variety of antelope. Birdwatchers will be thrilled by the many species, including flamingos, pelicans, and fish eagles near the lake.
