Drive to Lake Eyasi & Cultural Introduction

Start your day with an early pickup from your hotel in Arusha, Moshi, or Karatu, followed by a scenic 4–6 hour drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Eyasi. Along the way, enjoy views of farmland, Maasai villages, and acacia woodlands. Upon arrival, relax at your lodge with stunning lake views before visiting a nearby Datoga tribe village to learn about their traditional blacksmithing and way of life. In the evening, return to your lodge for dinner and unwind by a campfire in the peaceful surroundings.

Hadzabe Cultural Experience and Wildlife Spotting

Start your early morning with a guided hunt alongside the Hadzabe people, learning traditional hunting, tracking, and survival skills with bows and arrows. Afterward, return to their village to experience more cultural activities like fire-making, gathering wild foods, and traditional dances. Later, enjoy a nature walk or wildlife spotting near Lake Eyasi, where flamingos and other birds are often seen, followed by a picnic lunch or meal at the lodge. In the afternoon, begin your scenic drive back to Arusha, Moshi, or Karatu, arriving by early evening.
