After breakfast at your hotel—or upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK)—you will be warmly welcomed by our top-tier safari operator and your dedicated professional guide. From there, you’ll begin your journey to Tarangire National Park, approximately a two-hour drive from Arusha.
Renowned for its ancient baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and high density of elephants, Tarangire offers an exceptional introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife. Today, you'll wake up early and enjoy a hearty breakfast before you head to the Northern Serengeti, near the Mara River, where the Great Migration is taking place. Our expert safari guide will find the perfect vantage point for you to witness this extraordinary spectacle.
The Great Migration is the largest mass movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals as they cross the Mara River into the Masai Mara in Kenya. The river is teeming with crocodiles, adding to the thrill of the crossing. The best time to witness this incredible event is from July to early October each year.

Day 4
Northen Serengeti to Karatu
Northen Serengeti to Karatu
You'll wake up early and enjoy breakfast then continuing with a game drive in Northern Serengeti, with a special focus on the Great Migration. Later, you will depart to Karatu for overnight at the accommodation located near Ngorongoro. This gives you a chance to descend inside the Crater the next day in the early morning and see many animals when they are still more active.
The Great Migration is the largest movement of wildebeests, zebras, and other animals as they cross the Mara River into the Masai Mara in Kenya. After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. Once the game drive is complete, we will transfer you back to Arusha town at Clocktower, where our service ends.
The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact caldera in the world and one of Africa’s natural wonders. It is home to approximately 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as a wide variety of bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared for an incredible wildlife experience, where you’ll have the opportunity to see many animals in a short amount of time!
