Day 1

After an early morning hotel pickup, your guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and large elephant herds. Enjoy a thrilling game drive as you search for giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and, with luck, big cats like lions and cheetahs.
You'll stop for lunch at the Tarangire River picnic site, surrounded by nature (watch for cheeky monkeys!). The day wraps up with more wildlife viewing before heading to your budget lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2

Ngorongoror Crater

Ngorongoror Crater

After breakfast, journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Descend into the crater for a full-day game drive, where you might spot all of the Big Five: lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard. Lake Makat inside the crater is a haven for flamingos and other birdlife.
Enjoy a packed lunch in a designated picnic area, then continue exploring the crater floor’s diverse habitats. Later, ascend and drive to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 3

Materuni Waterfalls

On your final day, visit Materuni Village, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro and home to the Chagga people. After checking in at the village office, take a scenic 40-minute hike to the spectacular Materuni Waterfalls. Your guide will introduce you to Chagga traditions and local plant life, and if the skies are clear, you might catch a glimpse of Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped summit.
Later, join a traditional coffee-making tour—pick, roast, grind, and brew your own cup of Chagga coffee. After the tour, you’ll begin your return journey to Arusha, Moshi, or Kilimanjaro Airport.
