Day 1

Tarangire Natiional Park

Tarangire Natiional Park

We'll begin the day by picking you up from your hotel in Arusha and setting off on a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. As we leave the city's bustle behind, watch the landscape shift into expansive plains dotted with traditional Maasai villages.

Upon entering the park, you'll be greeted by the striking beauty of the Tarangire River, lined with towering baobabs and umbrella-shaped acacias. This lush corridor draws an incredible variety of wildlife, especially during the dry season when animals migrate from the Maasai steppe in search of water. Keep your eyes peeled for a rich diversity of species, including rare sightings of the greater kudu, fringe-eared oryx, and the vibrant ashy starling.

Midday, we'll pause for a picnic lunch in one of the park’s picturesque spots—just be sure to guard your meal from the ever-curious monkeys nearby!

As the sun begins to set, we’ll make our way back to Arusha, leaving behind the wild rhythms of Tarangire until next time.

Day 2

Materuni Waterfalls

Materuni Waterfalls

After being picked up by our driver, you’ll head toward Materuni Village and its stunning waterfalls. Stroll along lush tropical trails shaded by banana trees as your guide shares captivating legends of the villagers who live on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. If the weather is clear, enjoy sweeping views of both Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro in route to the falls.

Once you arrive at the breathtaking waterfall, take some time to relax, soak in the scenery, and capture unforgettable photos before making your way back down to the village.

There, you’ll savor a traditional, locally-prepared lunch and learn more about the customs and history of the area. Visit a nearby coffee plantation run by the Chagga community, where you’ll see firsthand how coffee is grown, harvested, and processed. You'll even get to roast, grind, and brew your own cup of fresh local coffee.

As the day winds down, we’ll transfer you back to Arusha or to the airport.
