Kigali City Tour And Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park

Depending on your location in Kigali, you will meet your safari driver and transfer to Bwindi national park. The park is located in the south-western part of the Uganda close to Rwanda border. You will have an en-route first stop to explore Kigali city visiting the Kigali genocide memorial site, Kandt Museum and other interesting places in Kigali before you embark on your journey to cross to Uganda.
it's about 4-5 hours’ drive with en route lunch. Upon arrival, connect to your booked accommodation to check-in.

Gorilla trekking in Ruhija sector and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your safari guide will readily be waiting for you.
Thereafter, drive to Lake Bunyonyi, which is about 2 hours' drive. Check-in at booked accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi - Transfer back to Kigali city

After breakfast, connect to explore Lake Bunyonyi. Take a boat/canoe cruise on Lake Bunyonyi to explore the different Islands on the lake and visit the main islands. The lake has about 29 islands on it and each island carries a significant importance that will catch your attention. Thereafter, meet your safari guide to embark on your journey back to Kigali city. You will be dropped off at a location you advise in Kigali or at Kigali International Airport for onward late flight, marking the end of the safari.
