Transfer to bwindi impenetrable national park

Our tour guide driver will pick you from the Hotel in Kampala or Entebbe early morning at 7am and set off a long drive to Southwest to Bwindi National Park with in route stopover at the equator for experimentation and photography and lunch break in Mbarara. You will proceed to Bwindi National Park reaching early in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Gorilla trekking

After breakfast at the lodge, you will travel to the National Park Headquarters to meet your guides for the day and begin your gorilla tracking experience. Experienced guides and trackers will accompany your party on an early morning trek into the dense rain forest on the mountain slopes.

The journey, through dense foliage and up steep climbs, is abundantly rewarded with the lifetime experience of viewing mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. You will have an opportunity to be within meters of these magnificent apes, sharing in their daily lives and experiencing their day-to-day activities. Mountain gorillas are extremely rare with only an estimated 880 remaining in the wild. This is an experience you won’t soon forget. After the tracking, we shall head to lake Bunyonyi for a relaxation evening and spend a night on the island.

Transfer to Kampala or entebbe

After breakfast, you will start your journey back to Kampala. Cross the equator and have time to take photos at the equator. Buy a few souvenirs and have a quick picnic lunch. You will then drive to Entebbe airport to catch your flights back home.
