1-Day Safari Experience in Akagera National Park

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Depart from Kigali early in the morning and embark on a scenic drive to Akagera National Park. The journey takes you through rolling hills and rural landscapes before arriving at the park. Upon arrival, complete the park entry formalities and prepare for an exciting wildlife experience. Begin the game drive through the park’s diverse ecosystems, including savannah, woodland, and wetlands. Explore the northern sector, known for its high concentration of wildlife, with chances to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and predators such as lions and leopards. The game drive also offers stunning views of Lake Ihema and other scenic landscapes, providing excellent photographic opportunities. At around 3:00 PM, have a well-deserved lunch at a restaurant, where you can relax and enjoy a meal. After lunch, begin the journey back to Kigali, arriving in the early evening for drop-off at your hotel or preferred location, marking the end of the Akagera adventure.
