Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You'll start your adventure by picking you up from your hotel and introducing you to your guide and chef before heading to Tarangire National Park, just a two-hour drive away. Renowned for its ancient baobab trees and boasting the largest elephant population in the country, Tarangire offers unique opportunities to witness elephant families in their natural habitat. Your game drive will take you to areas with reported animal sightings, focusing on elusive predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You can expect to encounter abundant herbivores such as giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras throughout the park.

Later, you'll pause at the picturesque Tarangire River picnic site for lunch, offering a serene view of the river and its surrounding wildlife. While enjoying your meal, be prepared for curious small monkeys and baboons who may attempt to share your lunch, but there's no need to worry.
