Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Nakuru National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel, residence or the airport and briefed on your safari. You will depart and drive via Nairobi towards the Great Rift Valley, viewing scenery, stopping at a viewpoint en route, and arriving at Pink Lake, which is often referred to due to its great masses of flamingos.

You will check in at the Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, have lunch, and proceed for a game drive in the park with numerous animals. During the game drive, you will see the huge numbers of flamingos concentrated along the lake shore. In addition to the bird life for which Lake Nakuru is so well known, there are many different wildlife species in the park, including lions, leopards, black rhinos, white rhinos, buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffe, zebras, impalas and waterbucks. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge.

You'll have an early breakfast. Then, depart for the Masai Mara National Reserve, which is 259km south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Drive past Narok, climb the western wall, and enter Hemingway's country, the Serengeti plains. You'll arrive in time for lunch at Sarova Mara Game Camp. In the evening, enjoy a game drive in this famous reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Sarova Mara Game Camp.
