Day 1

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your safari guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2.5-hour drive through the scenic Tanzanian countryside.
Known for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, diverse wildlife, and beautiful landscapes, Tarangire offers an exciting introduction to your safari. Enjoy a game drive through the park’s varied habitats, with opportunities to spot elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, and numerous bird species.
After your game drive, continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay at Eileen’s Trees Inn, a peaceful and comfortable lodge surrounded by lush gardens. Relax and enjoy a well-deserved rest before tomorrow’s adventure.

After breakfast, embark on a scenic 1-hour drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, famously known as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Upon arrival, descend 600 meters into this UNESCO World Heritage Site for a full-day game drive across its richly diverse landscape. The crater floor offers one of the best opportunities to spot the Big Five—including lions, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo—along with zebras, wildebeest, and vibrant birdlife like flamingos near the lake.
As you explore the crater’s unique ecosystems, your expert guide will share fascinating stories about its formation, wildlife, and ecological significance. Midday, enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the natural beauty and tranquility of this prehistoric caldera.
In the late afternoon, ascend the crater walls and return to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay. Optional accommodation upgrades are available for an extra cost.

Game Drive in lake Manyara & Departure

After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, you’ll drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic park famous for its lush landscapes, alkaline lake, and diverse wildlife.
Enjoy a game drive through its varied habitats, including groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the lakeshore, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos, and numerous bird species, including colorful flamingos. Keep an eye out for Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park before continuing with an afternoon game drive.
Later, depart Lake Manyara and drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your onward journey.
