Begin your adventure with a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, enjoying the colorful Tanzanian landscapes along the way. Renowned for its majestic baobab trees and impressive elephant herds, Tarangire offers your first game drive experience. Explore its diverse terrain and encounter wildlife such as lions, zebras, giraffes, and a rich variety of birdlife. After an exciting afternoon, continue to the highlands of Karatu for an overnight stay at your selected lodge. Karatu to Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, depart from Karatu on a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Lake Eyasi, a culturally rich destination nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley. This area offers a rare opportunity to interact with the Hadza and Datoga tribes, whose traditional lifestyles have remained largely unchanged for centuries. On arrival, enjoy a guided cultural walk through the villages, learning about the Hadza’s hunter-gatherer way of life and the Datoga’s renowned blacksmithing and beadwork. Start your final day early with breakfast, then set off on a short scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located just 30 minutes from your lodge in Karatu. Enjoy a game drive through this lush park, known for its diverse ecosystems and wildlife. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, herds of elephants, hippos wallowing in the lake, and vibrant flocks of flamingos along the shoreline. After this final wildlife experience, depart the park and begin your journey back to Arusha. You’ll be transferred directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport for your journey to your next destination, carrying unforgettable memories of Tanzania’s landscapes, cultures, and wildlife.
