Safari begins in Madikwe

Set with in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve of the Northwest Province of South Africa, The Impodimo Game Lodge is located on a ridge and each room has a private deck on which you can enjoy striking views of the Africa bush. The reserve covers an area of 75,000 hectares and is on the border of Botswana.

Touch down at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport where you will be welcomed by a representative ready to accompany you to the light aircraft flight for your onward flight to Madikwe. Your adventure begins on arrival at Madikwe Airstrip you will be transferred to your base for the next 3 nights. The Lodge is home to the famous Big 5 as well as the Painted Wolf (African Wild Dogs), Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena, a variety of large mammals and bird life. All of which can be observed on your morning and evening game drives, on guided bush walks or from the comfort of the lodge elephant hide.
