Masai Mara National Reserve Full-day Game Drive

After breakfast, set out for a full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara. Return to the lodge for lunch before continuing your exploration. The Mara is truly the land of African legend, where lions are abundant and elephants, giraffes, zebras and various gazelle species roam freely. Cheetahs and leopards are also regularly spotted, and with some luck, you might even see a rhino. From July to September, the annual wildebeest migration (one of the world's greatest wildlife spectacles) fills the plains with massive herds and their predators. Bird enthusiasts will enjoy sightings of several species of bee-eaters (the “flying rainbow” of the Mara). Around the park's borders, you may also encounter members of the Maasai community — morans (warriors) crossing the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders gathered under acacia trees. Dinner and overnight at camp.
