This traditional cooking class in Arusha offers a hands-on experience where you’ll learn to prepare authentic Tanzanian dishes like ugali, chapati, vegetable or bean stew, and coconut rice or pilau. Guided by a local host, the session includes an introduction to local ingredients and cooking techniques. After cooking, you’ll enjoy the freshly prepared meal while learning about Tanzanian food culture and traditions. The experience lasts about 2.5 hours and ends with the option to take home the recipes.
