Program of the Day: Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, a representative from Maven Tanzania Safaris will warmly welcome you. You’ll then be picked up with picnic lunch boxes and begin your journey to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive, where you’ll explore its breathtaking landscapes and exceptional wildlife.
The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Natural Wonders, is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. It is home to around 30,000 large animals throughout the year, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, cheetahs, and the endangered black rhino. The crater also supports a rich birdlife, featuring species like flamingos, buzzards, and eagles. This unique ecosystem offers one of the best chances to witness a wide variety of wildlife in a single day making for an unforgettable safari experience.
