If you're arriving early, spend the afternoon exploring Arusha city—visit cultural sites, shop for local crafts, or simply enjoy the relaxed vibe. In the evening, return to the lodge for a good night’s sleep in preparation for your early start to Tarangire National Park the next day.

Ngorongoro Crater lost Eden

This morning, we leave the lodge and drive towards the Ngorongoro Crater. After descending into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder teeming with wildlife, you will drive through open grasslands, acacia forests, and swamps where lions, elephants, buffalos, and the rare black rhinos live. See flamingos at Lake Magadi and spot hippos in the pools. This is one of the few places in Africa where you can see the Big Five in one day.
