Fly from Dar Es Salaam to Serengeti NP

Your adventure begins with a scenic domestic flight from Dar Es Salaam to Serengeti National Park. Upon landing at Seronera Airstrip, your expert guide will welcome you and lead you on an exhilarating game drive through the heart of the Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wild landscapes before heading to your Lodge for a delicious dinner and overnight stay.

The Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site spanning roughly 15,000 square kilometers, is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations. It hosts over 2 million herbivores, 4,000 lions, 1,000 leopards, 550 cheetahs, and nearly 500 bird species. During the dry season, experience the spectacle of the Great Migration, as vast herds of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains. The northern region of the park also boasts rich resident wildlife, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, and the elusive oribi antelope.

Home to the legendary Big Five — lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo, and rhino — the crater also teems with other fascinating wildlife, including hyenas, zebras, and antelope, all thriving within this ancient volcanic caldera.

Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by dramatic landscapes and roaming animals. In the afternoon, embark on another thrilling game drive as you ascend toward the rim, taking in sweeping views of this unique ecosystem.

As the sun begins to set, you'll continue your journey to Karatu, a peaceful town nestled in the verdant highlands. Spend the night at the elegant Pamoja Olea Farm Lodge, where you can relax in comfort, soak in the tranquil atmosphere, and prepare for the next chapter of your safari adventure.

In the morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your lodge in Karatu for a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. As you drive along the scenic route, you'll pass through the lush highlands and descend into the Great Rift Valley, where the park is beautifully nestled.

Riding in a modern safari jeep with an open roof, you'll explore a compact but richly diverse park known for its groundwater forest, open savannahs, and the sparkling lake that gives the park its name. Lake Manyara is famous for its tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, graceful giraffes, herds of elephants, and an extraordinary variety of birdlife—including flocks of pink flamingos lining the lakeshore.

After an immersive day of wildlife viewing, you'll return to one of our carefully selected luxury partner lodges. Enjoy a delicious dinner in an elegant setting as you reflect on the day's experiences. Following your safari, you'll be transferred to Arusha Airport for your return flight to Dar Es Salaam.
