Day 1

After an early breakfast, your safari guide will meet you at the hotel, brief you about the 10-day safari and set off as you embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. You will pass through Luwero town before having a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Upon arrival, you will take a guided walk to the bush in search of the white rhinos. The tracking will take approximately 3 hours or less. After tracking, you will have lunch and shortly continue with your journey to Masindi town.
You will proceed to the park. Head to the top of the falls which is one of the most spectacular views you will get in Murchison Falls National park, along your way, you will be able to spot some baboons grooming on the roadside, warthogs and many other species of the park. Arrival at the lodge for check-in, relaxation and overnight.

Day 2

Game drive and boat cruise

Arise very early in the morning, have breakfast and head out for a game drive (latest 6:30am) in the savannah in search for wildlife such as Nubian giraffes, Lake Chad buffalos, lions, spotted hyenas, Savannah elephants, Uganda kobs, Lelwel’s hartebeest, common warthogs, oribis, Bohor’s Reedbuck and many birds like Black-headed Lapwing, Blue-headed Coucal, Giant kingfisher, Swamp flycatcher, Red-throated bee eater, Black-billed barbet. The game drive is conducted in the Northern sector of the park. After the game drive, you will return and have lunch at the lodge as you prepare for a thrilling boat cruise on the Nile. The launch cruise will reward you with an eccentric view of the Nile, amidst the encounter of the huge Nile crocodiles, hippos and several other wildlife and waders like African skimmers on the lake shores. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Have breakfast set off from your hotel as you embark on the journey to Kibale National Park, located in western Uganda, approximately 4 hours away. Along the way, enjoy views of the lush countryside, tea plantations, and local villages. You will have a stopover for lunch in Fort Portal town before continuing to the park. Upon arrival, check in at the lodge and freshen up.
In the afternoon, embark on a guided nature walk at Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, an excellent spot for primate viewing where you will be able to see some other primates like the mongoose, bush pigs, baboons, birdwatching, and learning about local conservation efforts. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Chimpanzee trekking

Chimpanzee trekking

After an early breakfast, you will head to the Kanyanchu Visitor Center for a briefing on chimpanzee trekking, Kibale National Park is known as the "Primate Capital of the World", boasting over 13 different primate species, including chimpanzees, olive baboons, and colobus monkeys.
The chimpanzee trekking experience will take between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the movement of the chimpanzees. Once you locate a group, you will spend one full hour observing them in their natural habitat. You will see them feeding, grooming, playing, and communicating with each other, offering an unforgettable wildlife experience.
After the trek, you will return to the lodge for lunch relaxation then dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Wake up to a leisurely breakfast and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via Rwimi driving through scenic views of some crater lakes like Lake Nyinambuga, Kasenda and Kifurukwa, seen along your way. As you approach Kasese town, you will have spectacular views of the Rwenzori ranges. Arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park for check-in and lunch. Have lunch and refreshment then after transfer to Lake Katwe where salt mining is only done in Uganda, learn how salt is mined. This drive offers you an opportunity to experience the birding adventure thus sighting a diversity of bird species including the immigrant birds such as the pied avocet, flamingo birds, black winged among the rest. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Have breakfast very early in the morning and head out for a game drive (6:00am) in the Kasenyi plains. You will be exposed to species like African elephants, African Cape buffaloes, Uganda kobs, leopards, lions. The park also boasts a record of over 600 bird species. Drive back to the lodge for hot lunch and take a boat cruise on Kazinga channel.
The Kazinga channel is a 42km stretch, connecting Lake George and Lake Edward with rewarding big herds of buffaloes, school of hippos, Nile crocodiles and different bird species like the rare African skimmers and Lesser Flamingos. After the cruise, you can opt for a sundowner at one of the crater lakes or transfer back to the lodge for relaxation and overnight.

Today after breakfast, you will head out Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park this area is known for its tree-climbing lions. In Ishasha, we will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area with African elephants and you'll get to see the lions hanging in the fig tree branches. Have lunch and refreshment to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site and home to the famous Mountain Gorillas making it the best place in Uganda for tracking these gentle giants. On reaching, head for a brief nature walk to the local Batwa community and interact with them. The Batwa are also known as pygmies or Twa. They are one of the oldest indigenous tribes in Africa and are believed to be the first inhabitants of the equatorial forests of the region. They live in small huts made from sticks and grass. You will take photos and proceed to the lodge for check-in¸ relaxation and overnight.

Day 8

Gorilla trekking and transfer to lake bunyonyi

Have an early morning breakfast and head to the park headquarters for briefing about the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking by the ranger guides before embarking on your gorilla trek. Head in the forest and the trek until you find the gorillas. Gorilla trekking can take 2 to 8 hours depending to the movement of the gorillas. After finding the Gorillas in Bwindi¸ you will be given only 1 hour to observe and take photographs with them. Following the trek¸ return to the park headquarters to collect your well-earned gorilla trekking certificate. You will go back to the lodge for a late lunch. You will transfer to the lake Bunyonyi and enjoy viewing the beautiful scenery along the lake in the evening. You will take photos and proceed to the lodge for check-in¸ relaxation and overnight.

After breakfast¸ take a boat cruise along the lake Bunyonyi. The journey takes you through the kigezi area which is well known as the “Switzerland of Africa” ¸ to lake Bunyonyi. This lake was as a result of lava flow from the Virunga Mountains blocked the Ndego River at present-day Muko to create a natural dam. It’s dotted with 29 beautiful Islands with Bwana Island being the largest. After the thrilling experience in Lake Bunyonyi¸ You will have lunch. Immediately after lunch¸ you will continue Lake Mburo National Park and enjoy viewing the beautiful scenery along the lake in the evening. Lake Mburo is notably blessed with over 315 bird spaces and probably the best place to view acacia- associated birds. Check into the safari lodge for an overnight.
