Day 1

Drive to Tarangire after arriving at the meeting point

Drive to Tarangire after arriving at the meeting point

The group meets at the designated meeting point in Arusha. After meeting the guide and doing a gear check we commence the 2 to 3 hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and baobab dotted landscape. Today we enjoy an afternoon game drive. Travelers will setup and break down the camp but will not cook or wash dishes.

Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Tarangire to Lake Manyara National Park

Travelers have an early breakfast then depart Tarangire and drive to Lake Manyara. Guests to Lake Manyara National Park enjoy a very scenic game-drive. This park is known for its abundant birdlife, flamingos, hippos as well as tree-climbing lions. In the late afternoon we head to the campsite near Mto wa Mbu.

Drive Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Drive Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, campers depart head to the Serengeti National Park passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with beautiful landscapes along the way. Arrive in Central Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy an enroute game drive as we head to the campsite. We overnight in the heart of the Serengeti National Park.

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

Today guests spend a full day exploring the vast plains of the Serengeti. There are both morning and afternoon game drives offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes and so many other magnificent animals. We return to camp after a full day, for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Serengeti Half Day before Ngorongoro Crater Rim

After breakfast, enjoy a half day game drive in the Serengeti before proceeding to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We arrive at the campsite overlooking the crater, which offers spectacular sunset views. After the long drive we have dinner and rest at camp in preparation for our descent into this unique protected area the following morning.

Day 6

Drive from Ngorongoro to Mto wa Mbu

Drive from Ngorongoro to Mto wa Mbu

Just after breakfast, we have a morning game drive in Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This UNESCO World Heritage site offers some of the most abundant wildlife on earth. After we ascend from the crater, we start on the way to about the halfway point back to Arusha. We drive to the camp ground in Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight.

Back to Arusha

Back to Arusha

After breakfast we depart Mto wa Mbu and drive back to Arusha. Guests arrive into Arusha in the late morning or early afternoon and will be transferred to their respective accommodations or to Arusha domestic airport.
