You’ll be picked up early in the morning from your Nairobi hotel or residence by your safari guide. Begin your journey toward Masai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations. En route, you’ll make a scenic stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, with panoramic vistas of escarpments and sprawling plains below—perfect for photos and a bit of history on this ancient geological formation.
Drive through Narok town, arriving at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and a brief rest. In the late afternoon, head out for your first game drive, where you’ll likely spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, and big cats in the golden evening light.

After breakfast, enjoy a full-day safari with picnic lunch boxes packed for maximum exploration. Your guide will take you deep into the Mara plains in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and a wide variety of antelope and bird species.
Expect thrilling wildlife encounters and stunning scenery, from open grasslands to forested riverbanks. During migration season (Jul–Oct), this area comes alive with thousands of wildebeest crossing the Mara River, often chased by hungry predators.
Break for lunch under the shade of an acacia tree, then continue game viewing until you return to camp by sunset for dinner.

Day 3

Depart early from Masai Mara after breakfast with a packed lunch. You’ll head south toward the Isebania border, arriving mid-morning. After completing immigration formalities (guides will assist with this), switch vehicles and meet your Tanzanian guide.
From here, begin your drive into Serengeti National Park, entering through the western corridor or northern gate, depending on your routing. Enjoy a game drive en route to your tented camp, arriving in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head out for a full-day safari in Serengeti with a packed lunch. This vast wilderness is known for its expansive plains, acacia-studded landscapes, and high concentrations of wildlife, including lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebras.
Your guide will tailor the game drives to maximize sightings based on seasonal animal movements. You might explore the Seronera Valley, known for year-round game viewing, or trace predator activity near kopjes (rocky outcrops) and watering holes.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation under the stars.

Rise early and begin your journey eastward toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have a packed lunch to be enjoyed while on safari inside the crater.
The famous Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's seven natural wonders. The crater was formed two million years ago when a vast volcano erupted. The fertile lava has created a unique ecosystem, now home to the highest concentration of animals found anywhere in Africa! Once in the crater, thousands of animals such as lions, zebras, buffalo, and black rhinos surround you, and the views are astounding – you won’t know where to look!
Continue your journey to Arusha, passing lush highland farms and small towns. You'll arrive in the late afternoon or early evening at your Arusha hotel or the airport, marking the end of your East African safari.
