1-Day Lake Nakuru Safari – Departing Nairobi

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or a designated meeting point within the CBD at around 6:30 AM, then begin your scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley toward Lake Nakuru National Park (about 2.5–3 hours). Stop at a Rift Valley viewpoint for photos before entering the park.

Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive in search of black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, zebras, buffalo, and diverse birdlife along the lakeshore. Flamingos and other waterbirds may be seen when conditions are right.

Visit Makalia Falls and enjoy views from Baboon Cliff or similar viewpoints. Lunch will be served at a lodge or picnic site overlooking the lake.

After lunch, continue with a relaxed game drive. In the afternoon, drive back to Nairobi and be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or within the CBD, arriving in the early evening, marking the end of your day safari.
