Day 2-3

After a hearty breakfast, your guide will take you on an exciting Kampala City Tour. Uganda’s bustling capital, Kampala, is a melting pot of culture, history, and vibrant markets. Visit iconic spots like the Uganda National Mosque, Kabaka’s Palace, and the Uganda Museum.

After lunch, you’ll be driven to Jinja, a charming town at the Source of the Nile River. Known for its adventure activities and colonial architecture, where you’ll spend your evening before embarking on the next day’s thrilling events like a visit to the legendary Source of the Nile. Here, you’ll witness the mighty river as it starts its journey through Africa.

Afterward, get ready for some adrenaline-pumping activities, including white-water rafting on the Nile’s thrilling rapids. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced rafter, this is an exhilarating experience!

For the truly adventurous, you can also try bungee jumping from a tower that overlooks the Nile, taking in breathtaking views before making the leap.

Day 4-5

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, the safari continues as you travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most popular wildlife reserve. The park is renowned for its diverse ecosystems, teeming with wildlife, from savannah plains to wetlands and tropical forests.

Your journey will take you through scenic landscapes, and by late afternoon, you’ll arrive at your lodge within the park. Settle in and prepare for your first game drive the following day.
Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Spot iconic African wildlife, including elephants, lions, leopards, and herds of buffalo. The park’s Kasenyi Plains are famous for predator sightings, especially lions on the hunt.

In the afternoon, enjoy a tranquil boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel is home to one of the world’s largest concentrations of hippos, as well as crocodiles, elephants, and a vast array of bird species.

After another exciting morning game drive, this time through the park’s Ishasha Sector, you’ll head towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Ishasha is famed for its unique tree-climbing lions, a rare and captivating sight. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to spot more wildlife and take in the incredible landscapes.

Arriving in Bwindi in the late afternoon, you’ll settle into your lodge, ready for the next day’s unforgettable gorilla trekking experience.

Orilla Trekking and Cultural Visit

Today is the highlight of your safari, gorilla trekking in the lush, misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest! This ancient rainforest is home to about half of the world’s population of endangered mountain gorillas. Trekking through the forest with experienced guides, you’ll follow trails used by the gorillas, often through thick vegetation.

Once you reach a gorilla family, spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Watch them feed, play, and interact with one another. It’s a life-changing experience that you’ll treasure forever.

After the trek, you’ll visit a local Batwa Pygmy community, where you’ll learn about their rich cultural heritage, traditions, and way of life. Later in the day, you’ll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing evening by the water.

Later, you’ll transfer to Kigali, the capital of Rwanda, where your safari ends with a drop-off at the airport for your departure.
