Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through Kenya’s central highlands, passing coffee and tea plantations en route to Samburu. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in the reserve, known for its rare northern species like the Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, and Beisa oryx—collectively known as the Samburu Special Five. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Spend the entire day exploring the Samburu ecosystem with morning and afternoon game drives.
