Gorilla Trekking and Transfer back to Kigali

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kinigi park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and regulations. You will be assigned to a gorilla family group, and experienced rangers and trackers will guide you through the dense bamboo forest in search of the gorillas. The trek can range from 1 to 5 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family.
Upon encountering the gorillas, you will have one magical hour to observe these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Witness their behaviors, social structures, and the intimate interactions within the family.

After the trek, you will then begin your journey back to Kigali, arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for a brief Kigali city tour or a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial before being transferred to Kigali International Airport (KGL) for your departure.
