Early morning, Rise before sunrise for coffee/tea, then depart for a dawn game drive. The cool hours of early morning are prime time to spot predators on the move: lions may finish their night hunt, leopards could be seen descending from trees, and cheetahs. Mid-morning, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast. Relax, take a swim. Late morning to midday:
Short bush drive around nearby kopjes (rocky outcrops) where lions and leopards often lounge. Look for smaller creatures. Afternoon, after lunch, rest during the hottest hours when animals are less active. Late afternoon, embark on another game drive until sunset. Search for elephant herds gathering near waterholes, giraffes feeding gracefully on acacia trees, and spotted hyenas socialising near dens. Evening, return to your lodge or tented camp. Enjoy dinner under starry skies and share stories of the day around the campfire.

Pre-dawn (Optional), take off in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti plains (extra cost of $600). Watch the sunrise bathe the landscape in gold as herds of wildebeest and zebra wander below. End with a champagne breakfast in the bush.
Morning, regular morning game drive if you skip the balloon: track cheetahs in the open plains, observe hyenas scavenging, or catch elephants crossing dusty tracks. Midday, return to camp for lunch and some leisure time. Afternoon, venture out again to track the Great Migration (seasonal), in May–July: witness herds moving northwest, often crossing the Grumeti River.
In August–October, herds typically move toward the northern Serengeti, sometimes crossing into Kenya. In December–March, see calving season in the southern plains, where thousands of newborn wildebeest arrive. Evening, sunset over the endless plains; a magical moment to capture photos.
