Arrival in Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport and transfer to Arusha City

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our friendly, experienced, and very polite driver-guides. After a brief introduction to your safari, he will transfer you to Arusha for your overnight stay at your reserved hotel/lodge, where you will wait for your adventures to begin the following day.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, our tour guide-driver will pick you up from the lodge or hotel and start a beautiful journey to Tarangire National Park while carrying lunch boxes.

The park's name comes from the Tarangire River, which winds through the parklands and is the only water source for wildlife here during the Dry season. The park is well known for its large elephant herds, tree-climbing African pythons, and diverse landscapes. The landscapes you will see include seasonal swamps and savanna, with the Tarangire River. You may see lions stalking their prey and/or leopards resting in the trees above. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you to the lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

Transfer to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park for wildlife game drives with picnic lunch boxes. Once the game drives are complete, we will drive you to the lodge to relax, have dinner and stay overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park covers an area of only 330 square km (127 square miles), of which up to 200 square km (77 square miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. The park is famous for the arboreal lions, which hide among the branches of the trees, and the numerous colonies of baboons that populate the forest and which will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park. Also, the park is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, hippos, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, and buffalos. At some point during your game drive, you will get out of your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos.

Transfer from Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Serengeti National Park for a wildlife game drive, while carrying lunch boxes. Then, enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. We will continue the game drive activity in the afternoon before reaching the camp. The next day, we will spend the whole day inside this park for game drives.

The Serengeti National Park is among the largest parks in Tanzania, with diverse, amazing landscapes and habitats, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannah, and mountains. It is well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Depending on the rainy season, you may have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals on their search for food and water.

Transfer to Ngorongoro Crater for game drive

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater, with lunch boxes. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa's natural wonders, home to the world's largest uninterrupted caldera. Around 30,000 large mammals are resident all year round, such as buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, and various birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Be prepared to see many animals in a short time and to experience the nomadic society that lives alongside wildlife in the crater without harming one another.

Transfer to Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, our safari guide will drive you to Lake Eyasi, where you will meet the Hadzabe tribe. This tribe is famous for its hunting skills. You can go hunting with them and observe their skills firsthand. Later, you will stop by the Datoga tribe. This tribe is well known for its blacksmithing skills. You can stretch your legs by walking around Lake Eyasi, visiting the local village, and experiencing the real African lifestyle. After all these activities, you will be taken back to the lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Transfer to Arusha Airport for a flight to Zanzibar

After breakfast, relax at the lodge and, if time allows, take a short tour of Karatu town for shopping. From here, you will transfer to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Our driver in Zanzibar will be waiting for you at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (formerly known as Zanzibar International Airport) for a private transfer to your hotel in Stone Town.

Due to the colonial presence and the many mosques commissioned by the olden Sultans of Zanzibar, you will see continental churches.
