1-Day Day Safari; Explore Tarangire

• You'll be collected from the airport.

We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 AM for a scenic 1hr 45min drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its ancient baobab trees and the largest elephant population in Tanzania. You'll enjoy a game drive through the park, following wildlife sighting updates for the best chance to spot predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Herbivores such as giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest are commonly seen throughout the day.

Around midday, stop at the Tarangire River picnic site for lunch with stunning views of the river and animals. Expect a visit from curious monkeys and baboons—but don’t worry, they’re harmless and part of the fun!

After lunch, continue with your game drive before exiting the park at around 4:30 PM and heading back to Arusha.
