Day 1

Windhoek to Etosha

Your safari begins with a pickup from your Windhoek accommodation at 07:15, followed by a brief predeparture briefing at Chameleon Headquarters. Journey north, pausing in Otjiwarongo for supplies and a light lunch on the go.
Enter the vast Etosha National Park (over 22,000 square km), home to 114 mammal species, 350 bird species, 110 reptiles, and countless insects.
Enjoy a game drive to your overnight lodge, arriving before sunset. Settle into your comfortable twin-share room with an
en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. Dinner is served at the camp restaurant.
After dark, explore the floodlit Halali waterhole on foot, a hotspot for elephants and critically endangered black rhinos.

Visit Dead Vlei, surrounded by 1,000-year-old camelthorn skeletons, and climb a 300-m dune for panoramic views. Stop at iconic Dune 45 for photos or a shaded rest, then explore Sesriem Canyon, carved by the Tsauchab River over two million years. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon.
