Your safari begins with a pickup from your Windhoek accommodation at 07:15, followed by a brief predeparture briefing at Chameleon Headquarters. Journey north, pausing in Otjiwarongo for supplies and a light lunch on the go.
Enter the vast Etosha National Park (over 22,000 square km), home to 114 mammal species, 350 bird species, 110 reptiles, and countless insects.
Enjoy a game drive to your overnight lodge, arriving before sunset. Settle into your comfortable twin-share room with an
en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. Dinner is served at the camp restaurant.
After dark, explore the floodlit Halali waterhole on foot, a hotspot for elephants and critically endangered black rhinos.

Day 2

Day 3

Depart after breakfast at 07:30, heading west through Damaraland’s dramatic mountains, grasslands, and pink granite koppies. Meet vibrant Himba, Herero, and Damara locals selling handcrafted souvenirs, injecting cash into their communities with a small purchase. Picnic lunch under the shadow of the Brandberg (2,573 m), Namibia’s highest mountain. Reach the Skeleton Coast, where the barren beaches and fog-laden shores reveal the eerie Zeila
shipwreck (beached in 2008), perfect for photos.
Arrive in Swakopmund, a historic coastal town with German colonial architecture, and check into centrally located accommodation.

Day 4

Stop at the Tropic of Capricorn for photos, then stretch your legs in Solitaire with its famous apple pie. Arrive at your desert accommodation, featuring twin-share rooms with en-suite bathrooms, a refreshing pool, and a bar. Savor a buffet dinner under the stars.

Day 5

Start before dawn for an early breakfast and head to Sossusvlei as the gates open at sunrise. Witness the world’s highest sand dunes glow orange and red in the morning light, exploring the ancient Tsauchab River-bed with a 4x4 shuttle.
Visit Dead Vlei, surrounded by 1,000-year-old camelthorn skeletons, and climb a 300-m dune for panoramic views. Stop at iconic Dune 45 for photos or a shaded rest, then explore Sesriem Canyon, carved by the Tsauchab River over two million years. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon.
