Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha Airport/ Transfer by road to Serengeti

Today, you will take an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha, arriving at 9:30 am, where your driver-guide will warmly welcome you. After a safari briefing, you will drive to Serengeti National Park, stopping at the Olduvai Gorge Museum for photos. As you pass through the Ngorongoro gate, your journey will offer sightings of zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, gazelles, and more along the way. Lunch will be at a picnic site in Serengeti before enjoying a half-day game drive. In the evening, you will head to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After a peaceful night surrounded by the sounds of nature, you will wake up to the songs and chirping of birds in the heart of the Serengeti. After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will head out for a game drive at 7:00 am.

Today will be dedicated to searching for the famous Big Five: lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos. Central Serengeti is renowned for its rich wildlife, offering great opportunities for game viewing and photography.

In the evening, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will depart from the lodge and drive for about two hours to reach the Ngorongoro gate. You will enjoy a full-day game drive in the crater with a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you will head to Arusha Airport for your flight back to Zanzibar, departing at 4:30 pm and arriving at 5:30 pm, where your driver will transfer you to your hotel.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a World Heritage Site known for its rich natural and cultural value. As you descend into the crater, you’ll have a great chance to spot the Big Five and see bird species like flamingos around the crater lakes, all within this breathtaking environment.
