As you leave the highlands, you'll traverse the rugged Maasai Steppe, a landscape dotted with acacia trees, Maasai villages, and traditional homesteads. Visit Ngorongoro Crater:
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater (about 600 meters/2000 feet descent).
Explore the crater floor, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and renowned for its dense wildlife population.
Enjoy game viewing around the crater lake, grasslands, and swamps—look for lions, elephants, rhinos, zebras
Lunch: Picnic lunch inside the crater or at a designated picnic area.
Ascend from Ngorongoro: After exploring, drive back up the crater rim.
