Chimpanzee trekking
After an early breakfast, head to Kibale National Park headquarters for a ranger briefing on the dos and don'ts while trekking the chimpanzees. After the briefing, you will be led into the forest. Kibale National Park in Uganda is renowned for its high chimpanzee population and is a prime destination for chimpanzee trekking and habituation experiences. The chimpanzee groups are highly vocal, and it’s often possible to hear their calls from a mile away. Trekking the chimpanzees usually takes between three to five hours, and you are allowed to spend only one hour observing them, so make the most of that time to take as many photos as possible. Afterward, head back to the lodge to check out (you can choose to have lunch there or en-route) and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a bit of game drive through Ishasha sector with chances of spotting tree climbing lions and other wildlife. Arrive in the evening, check into your accommodation for dinner and evening relaxation.

After an early morning breakfast, you will head to the ranger’s post for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park feels like stepping into a lost world, unchanged for millennia. The journey is not easy through the thick vegetation, but the sounds of a gorilla family breaking branches ahead will quicken your pulse. As you follow the trackers, the moment will come when you finally set eyes on one of our closest relatives, and all your fatigue will vanish. You will be allowed to stay with the gorillas for one hour before returning to the lodge to check out. You will then head to Lake Bunyonyi, known as the "Switzerland of Africa" and famous for its lush, terraced hills, 29 islands (each with its own unique story) and over 200 bird species.
