Domestic Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha/ Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

Early in the morning at 6:00 am (pick-up time depends on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), your driver will take you to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, your driver-guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, about 1.5 hours from Arusha, while sharing insights about the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its biodiversity, including large elephant herds, and a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannah, with the Tarangire River winding its way through the parklands. You may witness a lion stalking its prey or leopards resting in the trees above.

You will enjoy a packed lunch inside the park. The game drive ends at 4:00 pm, after which you will be driven for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar

After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside the crater. The early start offers the best views and the most active wildlife.

Ngorongoro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the world's largest unbroken caldera and recognized as one of Africa’s Natural Wonders. It is home to around 30,000 large mammals, including buffalo, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many bird species such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see a wide range of wildlife within a short time.

The game drive will end in the afternoon, followed by a transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will take you back to your hotel.
