Arrive in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you'll be met and transferred to your budget hotel (if arrival is a day early) or head straight to the meeting point for your safari briefing. Depending on your arrival time, explore the city or rest up for the adventure ahead.

Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Nairobi in the morning with your group and journey through the Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at scenic viewpoints. Arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for a game drive. The park is known for its populations of white and black rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, zebras, and large flocks of flamingos lining the shores. After your game drive, transfer to your budget accommodation just outside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara

After breakfast, set off for the world-famous Maasai Mara. Enjoy the scenic drive through Narok and the Maasai countryside. Arrive at your camp in the afternoon, just in time for a short game drive (if time allows). Settle into your tented camp, enjoy dinner with your group, and fall asleep to the sounds of the wild.

Full Day Safari in Maasai Mara

After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara. With packed lunch boxes in tow, you’ll explore the vast plains in search of Africa’s most iconic wildlife — lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, and more. You'll stop at the Mara River to spot hippos and crocodiles and enjoy your picnic lunch under a shady acacia tree. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and stories by the bonfire.
