Day 1

Arusha to Tarangire NP

Arusha to Tarangire NP

Our day begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel or airport, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park. We'll spend the day on a full-day game drive, exploring the park's unique landscapes and wildlife. Tarangire National Park, located 115km from Arusha, is renowned for its extraordinary attractions, including massive elephant herds, Masai giraffes, cheetahs, lions, different bird species and striking baobab trees, often referred to as the "Tree of Life" due to its cultural significance in Africa.
At mid day you will enjoy a hot picnic lunch within the park then continue with a game drive. After a day of adventure, we'll head towards the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti National Park

On your second day, you'll depart from Mto wa Mbu with our professional guide in the morning after breakfast and drive to Serengeti National Park, passing through the beautiful highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll enter the vast and rolling plains of Serengeti National Park where during the day, you will be served with a delicious, hot picnic lunch. Thereafter, you'll experience the endless open plains and stunning skies of the Serengeti. As the day comes to an end, you will enjoy a beautiful sunset safari while on your way to relax at the campsite for the night, with the sounds of the savannah as your lullaby.

Day 3

You will spend another day exploring the Serengeti's vast expanse, with multiple game drives to maximize your chances of spotting rare and elusive species. After a morning game drive and an early lunch at the scenic picnic site. You'll proceed to Ngorongoro. Our well-professional and experienced driver will drive you through the Serengeti plains en route to Ngorongoro Highland explaining the vast wildlife and natural beauty of Tanzania.
You will enjoy a sunset game drive as you head towards the campsite located on the Ngorongoro Crater rim to spend the night, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

Following a delicious breakfast, you will begin our game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an exhilarating wildlife viewing experience.
The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is renowned as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, and the crater serves as a crucial refuge for a diverse array of animals.
During your visit, you are likely to encounter majestic elephants, buffalos and the endangered black rhino. Additionally, the crater is inhabited by large herds of wildebeest and zebra, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, hippopotamuses, Cape buffalo, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black-backed jackals, as well as nearly 400 species of birds.
Lunch will be served on the crater floor during mid day before you continue with the game drive.
After this wonderful excursion, you will drive to a comfortable, budget lodge at Mto wa Mbu town for a delicious dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Lake Eyasi to Arusha

Lake Eyasi to Arusha

After breakfast, our tour guide will take you to Lake Eyasi in a mini-van to meet the Hadzabe and Datoga communities.
The Hadzabe community is well-known for their incredible hunting abilities, and they will extend an invitation for you to join them on a hunting expedition to see their talents firsthand. Following this, we'll continue our journey to meet the Datoga community, celebrated for their expertise in blacksmithing. Take some time to stretch your legs while walking with your guide around Lake Eyasi and exploring the nearby village. At mid-day you will enjoy a delicious lunch, before you begin your journey back to Arusha.
This marks the end of our 5-day wildlife and cultural adventure, your guide will drop you off at the airport or hotel in Arusha.
