Your memorable day begins with a hotel pickup by a professional safari guide. Then, a 2-hour scenic drive to Tarangire National Park begins. Prepare to witness a huge number of wildlife, including wildebeests, zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, and buffalos. Unique species like gerenuks and fringe-eared oryx thrive here, along with 500 bird species. With over 2,000 elephants. In the evening, you will return to your luxury accommodation for check-in, dinner, and relaxation.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees, which consist of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savannas, with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands, which is the only source of water for wild animals here during the dry season.

The Unforgettable Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, set off on a scenic drive to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders. Spanning 102 square miles and plunging 600 meters deep, the crater is home to an extraordinary density of wildlife, including the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino. As you descend to the crater floor, prepare for a day of incredible game viewing, with chances to spot flamingos around the crater lakes, hippos lounging in the water, and a variety of birdlife and grazing animals spread across the plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch by a hippo pool, soak in the breathtaking views from the crater rim, and, if time allows, opt for a visit to a nearby Maasai village for a cultural encounter. After your full-day safari experience, you will be driven back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at either your lodge or the airport, depending on your onward travel plans.
